Different Leaf Magazine

I was commissioned by Different Leaf to create a series of full-page portraits for their Chicago issue, a feature on chefs shaping the city’s evolving relationship with food and cannabis culture.

The portraits were meant to feel vibrant and human, celebrating the mix of creativity, comfort, and rebellion that defines Chicago’s culinary scene. It was such a fun project to take on! I enjoy working loosely, expressive, and focusing on making portraits personality-driven. Also, as a hobby chef I enjoyed connecting to a story about artists of a different medium: chefs.
